The Nuclear Research Campus (KMG) is located in the south of the country and works to conduct research and development in nuclear energy.

The head of the Atomic Energy Committee, Ernest David Bergman, in collaboration with Shimon Peres, as part of a project carried out with the assistance of the French state, the campus was established in the 1950s and has been operating in the field of nuclear science.

The Nuclear Research Campus deals with the development and expansion of existing knowledge in the nuclear sciences, which is the basis for practical and economic development in the field of nuclear energy and its various uses.

In addition to being the center of research and applied activity in the various nuclear fields, the campus maintains a national website for radioactive waste and encourages educational activities in the community and the environment by maintaining continuous boards with cities and local authorities in Israel.
