Founded in 1991 after the merger of several companies in the field of fertilizers and phosphates, Rotem Ampert is a world-renowned company engaged in the mining, production and export of phosphates, fertilizers and other chemicals in the Negev region. The company is considered a subsidiary of chemicals in Israel (owned by the Ofer Brothers Israel Company) and its products are sold to the food and pharmaceutical industries worldwide.

Rotem Ampert has held licenses for phosphate mining for over 50 years and its activities in Israel are carried out in three factories (Rotem, Zin, Oron) where mining, production and transportation are carried out. The vast majority of the company’s products are exported to countries abroad and only a small portion remains used by farmers in Israel.
